Hi Everyone,
I am receiving email and calls about the snow.
Yes, there will be class tonight and all week, but if you live on a hill and can’t make it, don’t worry. You can make up the missed class any time, in any section.
We need leads in Bachata and Cha Cha class on Tuesday at 6:00. It’s a great class and everyone in it has some salsa experience.
We also need leads in all the other beginning classes. If you are an intermediate dancer, feel free to come to the beginning classes for free to help out.
Save me a dance

There are now about 4 pages done, and in Jan. I’ll add more. I hope to use some of the old site, but update it with pictures, bio, more information about events and links. After my last email I was unable to get many of the replys, so I apologize to any one who wanted to be removed from the list.

2. Snow days.
I will be teaching even if it snows.
Please don’t drive if live where it is snowing.
You can make up any missed classes any time in any section.
The only way that classes would be canceled is if they closed University heights. In 18 years that has never happened.

3. Private lessons are a great way to improve your dancing!!!
Call 206-334-7496 to get started.
Lessons are held at my studio at 1320 NE 63rd street.

I hope many of you will take the opportunity to try a private class. It’s a great way to learn any dance.
I’m available Monday - Saturday during the day and Friday evenings.
I love working with wedding couples even if they have never danced before.
So if you know someone getting married who is a little nervous about that first dance have them give me a call.

5. Tango Workshops – February 8-11, 2007 with Ney and Jennifer
Ney Melo and Jennifer Bratt dance an elegant style of social tango which is rooted in the traditions of the neighborhood of Villa Urquiza in Buenos Aires. Their dance is defined by a smooth and graceful walk, a powerful sense of musicality, classic steps entwined with intricate embellishments, and an intimate embrace.
Jennifer Bratt is regarded as one of the best female tango dancer in the US. Her sharp embellishments and articulate feet are often compared to those of the renowned Geraldine Rojas. Ney Melo has studied tango with masters of the Villa Urquiza and nuevo styles of tango.
They have just finished a teaching tour in Australia and Italy and they are returning to Buenos Aires in November where they will run another “El Abrazo Tango Tour to Buenos Aires”.

6. Buenos Aires Grill
I’ll be performing at the Grill with Wladimir Feb. 22, March 14,15,21,22.
It’s not a show like the Century, but a series of ad-lib dances done between the tables. It’s lots of fun, but you can’t actually see much of the dancing. Make sure they know you’re there for the dancing so they don’t seat you in the back. I recommend reservations.
We’ll have time between dances to visit!
